Hobbies/Interests:
Those who know me well are aware of the hardships of the past couple of years.  Two great reasons keep me going everyday:  Ashton and Peyton.  Their mom is no longer with us, but I cherish my beautiful sons as they are the best kids in the world which makes me one really lucky dad.  Golf, Tennis, Listening to Music, Singing.
What does this band mean to me?
At the age of 17, I saw "Wasted Years" on MTV. I was hooked. Like all my friends, I sang along to the songs very poorly for quite a while, when all of sudden during a drunken rage at the beach I belted out Children of The Damned. My friends replied, "Holy s*#@! That sounds just like Bruce!" I just dismissed it, but it made me think. A few years later, after hearing people tell me more and more that I sound just like Bruce Dickinson, I met my musical soulmate: Mr. Matt Forsythe.  At our first jam ever we immediately decided to put together an Iron Maiden tribute called Killers. The band was semi-active and we did some good shows. It was during this time that I first had the privelage of meeting and hanging with all the guys in Iron Maiden. By strange circumstance, we ended up filling in for Iron Maiden on 8/1/98 at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT on their Virtual XI tour(Blaze caused a 2 weeks cancellation).

Like most aspiring musicians, I decided to take a stab at being in a successful original band. I and my musical brother for life, Matt Forsythe founded SEVERE and we retired the tribute.  We also enlisted the services of our Killer mates Kristin Paris and Brian Bourque. We made a nice local dent and we could of really done something big, but we were a little confused about the direction to take with the music and with the vocals.  In 2002, we were in the process of making our 2nd cd when everything fell apart (TO BE CONTINUED!)

After that, I decided that I would form the tribute band that I've always wanted to put together. Simply put, the BEST Iron Maiden Tribute Band ever. Sure, I know that's a bold statement, but I knew that if I put the right team together, got a killer production and had the passion that this could be something great. And it was.  We really took everything up several notches, but the main thing was everyone could close their eyes and think they were at an Iron Maiden concert!

What made this even sweeter was that Matt and I reunited in 2004. It was like having Adrian Smith rejoin Iron Maiden! The other guitar players: Pete, John, Dave and Steve are all top notch of course!  Well, I got married and we had twins in July 2004 so things slowed down quite a bit.

2007 was a very dark year personally.  Divorce, death, and health issues crippled my availability, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.  I have the two best sons in the whole world.  No matter how grim life has been around me, the more I remember just how lucky I am to have Ashton and Peyton.  I would like to thank all my family, friends and Run To The Hills fans for their support and understanding.

I promise you that I am healing and that we have been preparing to return to action.

Up the Irons!
